Of all the accolades that FEI has received over the years, this makes us the proudest. There are a lot of reasons why I love to work for Ford Engineering,
Inc. but one that really stands out in my mind is the support
and "Round of Applause" that people get for achieving personal
goals whether or not those goals directly affect the company.
I recently graduated with my
Bachelor degree
from Wayland Baptist University and got a huge "Congratulations" from
everyone in the company. It makes me feel really good to know
that the people I work with care about me and what is important
to me.

Ford Engineering is one of the best places to work because
of the many opportunities that are given while working here. I
was given the opportunity to work as a high school intern to learn
the many skills needed in becoming a Civil Engineer. I was also
given the opportunity in continuing my education while working
at Ford, through very flexible scheduling and a tuition reimbursement
plan that was offered. Overall, this has been a wonderful experience
and I hope to continue working with Ford Engineering through my
Masters and Ph.D.

I have many reasons why Ford Engineering is the best place
to work. I have been here since January of 1997 and the past ten
years have absolutely flown by. The main reason I would say is
the people that work with me. The working environment at Ford
Engineering is very unique. I do not know of any other place that
will allow you to have the type of freedoms that we have and "fun"
that we have while still giving 110% everyday to do the best job
that we can do for our clients.

Having spent 10 years of my career at Ford Engineering, Inc.,
I feel compelled to give much of the credit to the Company. I
had already worked for other civil engineering firms before applying
here. Little did I know, I had stepped into one of the first companies
in San Antonio to fully automate the design process while the
large corporations were still dependent on manual hand drafting
methods. This pioneering spirit still thrives as we continue to
stay ahead of the competition with state of the art technology,
computers and survey equipment. I can honestly say "it really
is all about liking where you work, enjoying what you do at work
and being happy with whom you work.
